The official meeting point of our tour is at the Ruacana Camp Site in Namibia.

We will saddle up and make our way north towards Foarado.

We will spend on first night en route in a field camp.

We will reach Foarado (meaning hole) on day two. This is a private beach camp owned by the same person who owns the Desert Camp, Omauha. It is private, secluded offering the most beautiful scenery and rock formations as well as an ideal spot for fishing. Spending the next two nights here, we will explore the surrounding area. Fishing opportunities will be available.

Day four see us depart for Benguela, further north up the South Atlantic Coast. We will spend a night at a field camp before we reach our destination the following day.

Day five we will arrive at Baia Farta. We will spend the following two nights here, giving us an opportunity to explore the surrounding areas.

We will travel further along the coast towards Porto Amboim, sleeping in a field camp en route.

We make our way on day eight towards Luanda. We will spend three nights on our way to Luanda.

Day eleven will see us explore Luanda on a guided tour and visiting the war museum.

We will overnight at Cabela near the waterfall.

On day twelve we will move inland through the rainforest. We will spend one night in a field camp.

Day thirteen we will travel to Huambo, where we will spend the next night.

From Huambo we will travel to Menongue, where we make another field camp on day fourteen.

Traveling towards Namibia, we will cross the border at Katwipwe /  Nkurenkri / Rundu where each party will go their separate way.

Please note that we allow for an extra day, as delays may be inevitable, either because of unforeseen road or vehicle conditions or if we reach a spot where the group feels they would like to spend an extra day.
